28–29 April 2026 · Messe Stuttgart

PAX was present at XR EXPO 2026, one of Europe’s leading B2B trade fairs for virtual, augmented, and mixed reality, held for the first time at Messe Stuttgart.

At the fair, we presented the PAX Development Environment (PDE) — a conversational, cross-collaborational tool that helps developers and educators co-develop XR learning applications. The presentation sparked genuine interest, with several companies exploring the use of the PDE in their upcoming projects.

The event was also a great opportunity to connect with the wider XR industry, including CHENEXT Technologies, whose AR application we had the chance to try hands-on, and VUSE XR, who introduced us to their mixed reality solutions.

What is the PDE?

Co-developing XR learning apps is usually a long and difficult process: educators and developers speak different technological languages. Educators have to explain their needs, systems, and curricular requirements; developers have to explain the differences between XR technologies and what a development process costs and involves.

The PDE bridges this gap with a streamlined, four-stage process:

Capture — gather information and define the educational added value · Plan — design the app · Realize — develop it · Apply — test it in the classroom.

The PDE is completely free. Try it here: PAX Development Environment
