As part of its ongoing exploration of innovative educational technologies, the PAX project recently visited NTU and NIE in Singapore.

The visit included engaging discussions with Fun Siong Liam, Head of the Centre for Applications of Teaching & Learning Analytics for Students at NTU, and Wen Yun from NIE’s Learning Sciences & Assessment Department. Both shared insights into their current projects using XR and AI in education, highlighting their potential applications in teaching and learning.

A special moment of the visit was a tour of the NIE Library, where LIBytes, a newly developed space designed to merge education and technology, was showcased. This forward-thinking initiative offers students and staff the opportunity to explore VR, AR and AI-enabled robotics and discover how they can be applied in the classroom.

Special thanks go to Adeline Seow for her outstanding organisation and hospitality during the visit. Her efforts made the visit not only productive but also truly memorable.
