On 10 October 2024, a meeting brought together four Erasmus+ projects – PAX, Alliance4XR, Metaverse Academy, and Digital Twin – to foster cooperation in integrating  advanced technologies into education and vocational training.

The meeting highlighted the importance of collaboration between Erasmus+ initiatives, demonstrating a shared commitment to continuous improvement through mutual support and the joint development of digital innovations.

All four projects will participate in the EuroXR 2024 conference in November, where they will present their progress and explore new synergies to improve education across Europe.

The projects share a common focus on the digitalisation of education, with a particular emphasis on using emerging technologies to enhance the skills of students and workers. Opportunities for collaboration include the creation of educational materials, the integration of technologies such as XR and digital twins, and the implementation of inclusive methodologies that ensure equal access to training.

The meeting also identified opportunities to share best practices, jointly assess the challenges of digital education in Europe, and develop solutions that respond to the evolving needs of the labour market.
